Meet the Candidate

Jesse Moreno

Present. Prepared. Fighting for What's Right.

Jesse Moreno

I am a lifelong El Pasoan who spent years inside City Hall, seeing exactly how decisions about your bills, your streets, and your neighborhood are made — and who gets left out when nobody's watching.

I grew up on El Paso's East Side, the oldest of five kids — looking out for others before anyone asked me to. I am a community organizer hearing your concerns.

I am running for District 6 because you deserve a City Representative who shows up, tells you what's happening, and works every day to make your livelihood worth living. Citizens demand results and I'm here to provide them.

I understand your struggles because they're mine too.

Having been involved with local service organizations, serving as a campus organization leader, and witnessing firsthand how our local government works, I have seen the issues we face as a community. I've always known more can be done to improve citizens' lives — whether that's their wallet or their future. I've led community rallies, advocated against the state, and created opportunities to speak before the Federal Trade Commission about lowering your grocery and energy costs. I understand and agree with removing Flock surveillance cameras for citizens' peace of mind and security. I know the issues facing our aging population and shrinking workforce, and I will work to bridge those gaps. I am ready to bring your issues to the forefront and invest in our region properly and efficiently.
