Terms for this website and for the Jesse For El Paso text message program.
Effective Date: September 28, 2026 · Last Updated: September 28, 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of jesseforelpaso.com and your participation in the text message program operated by Jesse For El Paso, the campaign committee supporting Jesus "Jesse" Moreno for El Paso City Council, District 6 (the "Campaign"). By using this website or joining our text list, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or join the list.
Jesse For El Paso — District 6 Campaign Updates.
By providing your mobile number and checking the consent box on our sign-up form, you give your prior express consent to recurring contact from the Campaign at that number — by text message, by live, automated or prerecorded telephone call, and by email if you provided one — including messages sent using an automatic telephone dialing system. Contact may include campaign news, event and town hall invitations, updates on City Council votes affecting District 6, voter registration and early voting reminders, volunteer opportunities, and requests for support.
By checking the box you are providing your electronic signature to that consent.
Consent is not a condition of any purchase, contribution, or service. You can support this campaign, volunteer, contribute, or contact us without ever joining the text list.
Message frequency varies. Volume generally increases during early voting and in the final weeks before Election Day.
Your consent covers automated and prerecorded voice calls, such as a short recorded reminder before Election Day. These are used sparingly. Opting out stops these along with text messages.
Message and data rates may apply. The Campaign does not charge for these messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving text messages depending on your plan. Check with your carrier if you are unsure.
Reply STOP to any message from the Campaign at any time. You will receive a single confirmation message and will then stop receiving messages. You may revoke consent by any reasonable means — replying with words like STOP, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE or REVOKE, telling us during a call, emailing jesseforelpaso@gmail.com, or calling (915) 247-2426. We do not require any particular wording or method. Revocation stops both texts and calls. If you want to rejoin later, you can sign up again on this website.
Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at jesseforelpaso@gmail.com or (915) 247-2426.
You must be at least 18 years old and either the subscriber of the mobile number you provide or a person authorized by the subscriber to enroll that number. Do not enroll a number that is not yours. If your number changes or is reassigned, please let us know so we can update our records.
Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and most other carriers, though carrier participation may change. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. The Campaign is not responsible for messages that are delayed, blocked, or not delivered due to carrier issues, device settings, or network conditions.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number and text opt-in consent are never sold, traded, or exchanged. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site, interfere with its operation, submit false information through our forms, or enroll a phone number you are not authorized to enroll.
Contributions to the Campaign are processed by ActBlue on its own platform and are subject to ActBlue's terms. Contributions to a political campaign are not tax deductible as charitable contributions. Texas law places limits and restrictions on who may contribute to a municipal campaign, including restrictions on contributions from corporations and labor organizations. By contributing, you affirm that your contribution complies with applicable law and is made from your own funds, not reimbursed by another person or entity.

You are welcome to share and link to our content for the purpose of discussing this election.

This website is provided "as is." We work to keep the information here accurate and current, but we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every detail will always be up to date. Policy positions described on this site reflect the candidate's views and are not a contract.
We may update these Terms & Conditions. The revised version will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of the site or the text program after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
